Andrew Recktenwald focuses his practice on civil litigation.  During his nine years practicing in Hawaii, Mr. Recktenwald has represented individuals and businesses in both federal and state court cases involving a wide range of issues across a variety of sectors and has been recognized on Best Lawyers Ones to Watch list and on Super Lawyers Rising Star list.  Mr. Recktenwald is also experienced in the corporate arena, having previously served as the General Counsel for a large nonprofit organization prior to joining Cox Fricke LLP.   

Born and raised in Hawaii, Mr. Recktenwald is a proud graduate of Le Jardin Academy in Kailua.  He holds a B.A. in English from Indiana University-Bloomington and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
