John A. (Jay) Mannle Counsel

Mr. Mannle focuses his practice on civil litigation, drawing on experience gained over a nearly 25-year career in the United States Marine Corps as both a prosecutor and defense counsel, as well as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Hawai’i. Mr. Mannle also has a range of experience assisting clients with creative approaches to problem solving, issue preclusion, and dispute resolution, having served as a legal advisor to senior executives in the Department of Defense, including commanders in combat and the organization chartered to defend detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Prior to joining Cox Fricke LLP, Mr. Mannle also served the State of Hawaii as a Deputy Attorney General in its Family Law Division, and the Federal Government as the Clerk of Court for the District of Hawai’i.

Mr. Mannle attended Miami University, Oxford, OH (B.A., Political Science) and the University of Notre Dame Law School. He is licensed to practice in California and Hawai’i.
